Hello everyone! I would like to welcome everyone back to school and also to those whom just started here at UNR. Recent forum updates
Hope everyone is having a good summer vacation! The forums are going quite well and pretty active. With the transition from forum beta to stable (awhile ago), more features and functionality have also been added:
1. Robust YouTube video embedding. This feature has been programmed to support different types of YouTube URLs such as ones from Canada, France, and even URLs with parameters of 'related=...'.
2. Forum ranks have been implemented. Such ranks include founding father, alpha - gamma, and pledge.
3. Moderators. Several moderators have been appointed in which their priority is to moderate specific boards according to their respective officer position. However, they have access to other boards as well in case help is needed. Because of this, the board moderators are organized in some heirachical manner.

Finals week and other things
As we all are experiencing, finals week here at UNR has started. Good luck to all the brothers; study hard and do well!
A few notes:
1. The forums are still in BETA so if there are any issues regarding forum permissions and roles, you can contact the system administrator by either forum or e-mail. Issues (if any) will be addressed in the order they are received. Also, the old forums should be going offline soon.
2. Any suggestions for the website are welcome--especially regarding events or media. Hopefully those two pages will be accessible in the near future.
Lastly, some links to our community partners primarily within the Northern Nevada region are available. So far the draft is to have them located to the right of these news postings instead of having their own separate page. Things can easily be changed anytime. If there are any suggestions to include any other links, send them over to the sys admin.

Official forums are up!
The official LPR forums are up. However, there are no available topics as of right now; it is still in development. On the good side, the forums are fairly secure and private where it is not accessable by the public. Brothers are welcome to go ahead and register on the forums. However, access will not be available until administration confirms and validates the registration. This is so we do not have anonymous registrations.

Website update to brother roster
The website's 'Brothers' page has been updated. So far, the template seems complete with some possible pending changes. The hyperlinks to the bios are unavailable because they have not been put onto digital media. However, the template for those are complete. Also, the forums are currently under development and should be completed soon.

Welcome!
The website is finally up and the domain is paid for. Everything on this website is still in its development stage. Hopefully this will be finished and more complete over the next couple of days.
